Absolutely atrocious D zone coverage in the second period. Savard’s adventure seems to have uncorked the flood gates on that.

I’m not a Monty fan, but he has been fantastic overall. Team has hung him out to dry since the Savard debacle.

It really looks like that's what the Caps are giving him. If Laine got his shot off more quickly and hit the net I think good things would happen.
