agreed, PP are rare in the playoffs, especially with refs like the ones we had yesterday. so is it worth having Patrick useless at 5x5 Laine in the lineup?

stressful! on the phone with the "command center" trying to get some stuff fixed with one of the computer systems we use. 2 issues. it took all day. and neither is fixed.

I would trade Laine this summer if we can and bring in someone else from UFA or trade, our PP are getting too predictable now and even with Demidov on that top unit it will still go to Laine for the shot, unless we have Caufield in the same unit as well

I also expect they will try to ship him elsewhere this summer. I cannot see MSL going through another season like that.
now if he could play a few good games this week it would help. not betting on it.

we often hear how having a guy like wifi in the lineup helps his teammates, they grow a few inches and play with more confidence.
now would be a good time imo, that would probably be more helpful than playing Laine.

they did retain but at least it wasn't half or add anything. they got a 1st RD pick and a 23 yr old goalie taken in the 1st RD in return.

good thing is jones is still sucking even playing 3/4 minutes. plus he was a miserable SOB for his mates to be around.
