Yep this was undeniably fox’s worst season and look at the numbers he put up. I am not worried about it though cause there is a 0% chance the rangers trade him

Fox isn’t in the same conversation as Makar. When I see players skate away when the other 9 players on the ice are in a scrum, they can f right off. Fox Zib etc. I will say, once in a while a fire gets ignited in Panarin and he gets involved, but it’s not often.

Did you actually miss the point, or just ignore it because it doesn't fit your narrative? Where did you get the idea that I was making a comparison between Fox and Makar's skill sets? Or, for that matter, that I was saying Fox should be compared to Makar? The comparison in question is fan base's reactions to their teams top defensemen.
You do realize that a team might need to have players with different skills, right? I know you want 22 clones that are all 6'4", 220lbs. But, you might have difficulties finding success with a team full of the same characteristics. Kinda like hiring a crew of 12 electricians to build your entire house.
