he sucks in the playoffs remember?
Maybe Drury will send him to Siberia. Drury can be like you’re going to SJ whether you like it or not. He just did it with goodrow. Trouba to Ana. You get the picture. He’s a ruthless genius - Slimtj100
Dont get me wrong, Id love to see it though, I just dont know what either one is thinking so I cant speculate on it. |

A match made in heaven in your eyes. LOL
Panarin will be 35 this year and im sure wants a chance to win a Cup, he isnt going to pack up his family and go across the Country to a rebuilding team. - Brukie
Panarin doesn’t turn 34 until October |

That will definitely have a huge impact on his decision to move out west |

He may suck in the playoffs. But he also has helped the team reach the playoffs several straight seasons until this one. Plus he had the GWG versus Pittsburgh in Game 7 in OT. I know everyone is down in Panarin and rationale why makes sense. But if he goes, his offense will be missed, cognizant that everyone expects the kids to make up for what he leaves. |

Don't let the facts get in the way of his narrative. Although I tend to agree with his narrative for once. I see no reason why he would accept a trade to SJ.

Outside of him being a pure cap dump, why would SJ trade for him?
Yes you need to surround your kids with some vet help, but trading away good assets for one year of Panarin doesn't seem to fit their timeline at all. |

Even though his numbers werent much after the third game against the Canes last year, Trocheck and Laffy put up great numbers so even though it didnt show on paper, I thought he played well.
I get the Pros of the regular season and the Cons of the post season but if we can get a haul for him I think you go for it because I dont think Drury wants him as a player. They had a screaming match a few years ago where Drury ripped on his performance.
Then again you need him during the regular season to help the team to make the playoffs.
This off season will be very interesting. |

The point is being missed that how can we off load salary? Zib seems HIGHLY unlikely based on term left, I’m not sure Kreider is enough off the cap, Fox is non starter, that leaves Breadman. One year left, kind of tainted reputation now, and we have plenty of LWs.
Also, not sure Sullivan and Panarin are the best match either.
And I admit, I don’t believe in Breadman being the guy to get you to the promised land anymore |

I really like how they’ve drafted/started to rebuild that team. Their 1st draft as an organization they clearly targeted size/physicality.
Draft picks from 2024:
Iginla 6’ 195
Beaudoin 6’2 210
Skahan 6’5 210
Lavoie 6’4 220
Vaisanen 6’1 190
Bieber 6’3 170
Smith 6’5 210
Allard 6’2 200
Cech 6’3 195
Hradec 6’3 200
Lafton 6’1 185
These are 17 and 18 year olds!!!!!!! |

I liked the way Rempe looked this year. If he continues his off season training he might be able to turn into a good 3rd liner. |

I get that salary “has” to move. Same problem last offseason and that blew up spectacularly. If they do move a contract, you sure as heck better supplement the offense because dealing a top six winger without replacing him will adversely impact the scoring production .
Who moves may depend on Sullivan’s view having faced this team in the division. I wonder if Laf is the one who is dealt. |

Laf would be the easiest to move...that's for sure, but that is short sighted. Move Kreider

Suppose it gets nuclear and he finds a way to move on from Panarin, Zib and Kreider. What is that like 27 million in cap space |
