Personally, I think that the Canucks should pulle a Burke-Sedin at 2025 draft. find away to acquire 3 picks in the top 10 by moving Petterson, Hughes and the 15th overall pick. Sure their 2015-26 season will suck but it will set them up nicely for the McKenna sweepstakes in 2026. Could be a real quick 2-3 year rebuild if they can luck into Schaefer, Misa and McKenna |

Blah, blah, blah.
Trade Pouty!! - Danny Bomber
I think that's in the best interests of the organization, but whuddo I know. As I said in an earlier post, if they traded both Quinn Hughes and EP40 the returns would be good enough to start a semi-retool and reset the team. |

Sherwood and Forbort were great signings, but that's a middle 6 winger and bottom pair D man option. The Canucks need to add high-end skill and potential... not getting that with those kinds of signings. - NewYorkNuck
Take the money Boeser turned down and give it all to Ehlers |

It would also make the team unwatchable for another half-decade. Why trade away the greatest defenseman in franchise history? This (frank)ing fanbase can't go 5 minutes without filling their diapers, seriously |

Because Hughes will not want to spend his prime years on a re-building team. |

No biggie. They can buy it back later in the season if need be. |

Well, not necessarily, it depends on the return for both players. They could in fact be a deeper, more well balanced team, than they are right now. Which is a very mediocre team. |

So that they can make the playoffs and be a competitive team throughout the season. |

For the record, I did not say "rebuild", I said "re-tool". As in, trade for players and picks, not just futures in the form of prospects and picks.

They were competitive this year and missed by 6 points despite a myriad of injuries and their 1C going AWOL for more than half of the season |

Oh yeah, really looking forward to seeing the Canucks win the series, then we will try to get tickets for home games to next round. My brother has seasons tickets so he gets 1st dibs for playoffs.

It always comes down to whether the pitching can stay healthy or not with the Dodgers. I'd love to head down to Arizona some time and catch a ball game. A buddy went a couple years ago and sent me some pics. That park looks gorgeous. |

Listen, were trading all our best players cause that's smart. Then when other players get good, we trade them. That’s just good management. |

I rather build around Hughes & asap being EP goes. NJD preferred or Buffalo or an as of yet unknown team. |

Don't divert from the point of the post. You claimed they need to trade their star players so that they can be competitive. They are already competitive, so I'm not sure what you're saying you want. |
