Twitter especially had the bruins account removing comments on the Sweeney announcement for about twenty minutes before they gave up. The overall consensus was the fans weren't happy and fans of other teams applauding the decision.

Has to be hard for Sweeney to watch the panthers. They are playing the style of hockey he wishes the Bruins would play. They have an aggravating forcheck, guys that can shoot and possess the puck, and a goalie that can give them a big save when they need it. Oh and a coach that doesn't reshuffle lines every two shifts.

I agree though, hope Marchy gets another cup.

I don’t blame one player for those losses. He still helped get them to those spots.

Wanted the 2019 win so bad for Tuukka. He deserved a Championship. The Bruins also didn’t score until late in the third period when the game was over.

Oh I'm not blaming only Rask for those two cup losses. Rask was pretty much a shoo-in for the Conn Smythe in 2019 but all of the goals against in game 7 were soft.
