Not an every year occurring thing. 3 of those 4 are good depth players but not stars. 1 of them, Kotkienemi, was more of a revenge move that I bet they'd admit they regret. The other two were by the same team in the same year. Only 3 teams have done it the last 12 years.

KK is overpaid but he's an "ok" third line centre, used on a 2nd line.

And he somehow always performs in the playoffs. Even if his points per games have dropped the last two seasons.

Montreal signed Slaf last summer to an 8 years, 7.6M per season contract that begins this season.

Seems like comparable for Knies as they are somewhat similar players at this point of their careers even if Slaf is a year younger.

It's increasingly looking like an EDM-FLA rematch. 🤷

Edmonton is scary in the fact that no lead is safe with them. It goes both ways though. They’ve already had multiple games they’ve been down 4-0 in these playoffs and came back to tie it. They also lost those games before overtime. It’s crazy.

One thing that’s putting damper on my excitement about the Leafs this year, is that they might lose Edmonton, and I find that absolutely reprehensible.
