EK, I am hearing from a good source close to the Leafs that after Marner and the GREAT Tavares leave as UFA, the Leafs will go hard for Elias Pettersson in Vancouver. Leafs need guys that deal well with pressure to perform and they see EP as their #1 target this summer.

I barely watched any of the last game and pretty much didnt watch most reg season games in their entirety.....it was great.

The difference is that the top of your lineup elevate their game and have the guts to compete when things get tough.

When your best, and highest paid players establish that work ethic it sets a tone for the team.

O-Dog said it best, at this point, we know that the Leafs "best" players are either choking because they are incapable of handling the heat, or they simply don't care enough.

Last game I turned down TV after the first goal against and not because of goal, but I saw how Florida entering offensive zone and could not find anyone in blue and white there. I decided my nerves are more important than watching this disaster.

Not bad at all.
I wont be watching at all.
I barely watched any of the last game and pretty much didnt watch most reg season games in their entirety.....it was great.

Yup, same vibes over here. You start to do the math on 3 hours x 82 games for a few decades and think, "Jesus H I could be virtuoso violinist if I did that instead of watchin the Queefs, drinking and getting angry for most of it."

Its funny, through the garbage years I think I watched more games per season than I than I did in either of the past two seasons.

At least in the garbage years, for the most part they had a compete level....just no talent. Now its the opposite.

Wedgie was the Master at that.

A couple times a year he would suck people into believing his schtick about trading away young talent to get some experienced vets on the team for leadership. It got a few people, every time

Wife continues to watch. She even watched the rest of the last game, after it was 3-0. She did understand that there was no way I wanted it on the TV anymore.

Sadly, I either go sit in my car somewhere or end up watching it or hearing it in the background. I just hope it's done this evening.

If he does (he won't), and if Matthews isn't the other top 2 worst players on the ice, then the obvious question will be, where was this in game 4 or 5, or in the past 8 years for that matter.
