Its not the best option, but Ive come to terms that its very likely that he will be brought in. Personally, Id rather have Dumoulin on the 3rd pair with Borgen and Hague with Fox, but thats like perfect world, nirvana type stuff.

Why do you think he will be brought in?

Well we wont be hearing from aecliptic for a month, he just got banned for a stupid innuendo post for the other day. This site is ridiculous. With all the poop thats said he got a month for a harmless line from Pixar.

Would need to be Panarin if it's a culture shock needed. Trading away your best forward certainly does the trick here. Get a haul of picks and perhaps a 3C in return. Eat some salary to better the picks coming back.

If i can only move one this year it's Artemi Panarin.

Look, the Rangers are currently in a spot where they have too much money tied up in a group of forwards that is rapidly starting to show it's age. They need young pieces and a lot of them.

Artemi Panarin, with two years left on his contract and still a point per game player, can get you that.

Think about it: You gain a bunch of assets to help long term, you open up space for desperately needed depth help in the short term, and you give the now 24 year old Lafreniere an honest-to-god shot at proving he's something greater than just a solid 2nd line player.

Now you probably aren't signing Boeser with that cap space, but you could sign, say, Kuzmenko and Gavrikov. I'd also move Zib to the wing in this scenario to take some defensive responsibilities off his plate and let him focus on getting the puck to the net.

Think about it:

Lafreniere - Miller - Zibanejad
Cuylle - Trocheck - Kuzmenko
Kreider - Brodzinski - Perrault
Berard - Edstrom - Armia (?)

Gavrikov - Fox
Miller - Borgen
Soucy - Schneider

you aren't winning any trophies with it, but maybe you can bump up the value of some of your vets to the point where you can continue to recoup assets on the fly and build something better quickly.

- BINGO!

Prime example of others complaining about the Rangers not developing prospects correctly. Just look at the above lineup want. Classic stupidity (sorry, but it is).

Gabe Perrault is not a 3rd line player. Why the fvck would you put him there? Give the kids a chance to succeed. No Othman either? Unreal.

A good 2C and moving Trocheck to 3C would be amazing.

Then that’s really where most of the cap savings goes and there won’t be any major moves for LD or RW. I think if you get that chance to free up the space you can work with jt miller and Trocheck as your top 6 centers if you beef up other areas

Don't know, but this site has an odd search engine that bans us for no reason. The algorithm that searches for "offensive" content is flawed...and there's no way to reverse it.

This I know because I got hit for a month ban for absolutely nothing.

I am all for it, but are you okay with a 3C making over $5M?

I cant believe it. It wasnt even a comment directed at someone. For the poop that was said on here and passed over, he gets suspended for this. Kinda makes you wonder. Plus its a month, like WOW.

The TOR board is ripping Nylander and Marner.

Basically just soft players that don’t play defense, which is what I’ve always been against.

My view on Marner has changed, don’t want to sign him after watching this series. He’s Panarin 2.0

Trade Panarin.

Reason, likely the biggest return we’d get for anyone from this core. I’d target a big tough “playoff” type player to replace him, even if it’s a 50-55 pt guy but brings the other intangibles with him. Draw your own conclusions as to who I’m referring to

Someone posted he hasn’t scored a goal in 22 straight playoff elimination games. If that stat is true, it’s crazy a team will be paying him 13-14 million

It won’t happen but if we trade Kreider would love to bring in Marchand on a short term deal for if possible
