I’m still skeptical that a team would want to declare war on the Rangers who have an 11 mil player coming off their books next summer but we shall see
But I remember the Hurricanes GM when Montreal signed Sebastian Aho to an offer sheet. That is just saved him from having to work on it all summer. And ultimately an offer sheet could just make Cuylle a long term Ranger quicker - jimbro83
Depends on the level. I guess question is, what $ figure would you not match. |

Ultimately I have to see what team specifically did it to know how I feel about the potential of having their first round pick in 2026 before I answer that |

Will Bread still be here on a lower salary, or will he chase the $$$$? |

Very much so, as JT took a major home town discount. |

I have a sinking suspicion that the Rangers won't re-sign Bread, even at a bargain rate like Tavares.
Unless the Rangers are having an unexpected magical season where everything is going right, I think they trade him at the deadline. I think there's a helluva lot that we fans are unaware of regarding the accusations that were leveled against him. The team stood by him and protected him, but its time to part ways.
If/when the Rangers retain on him at the trading deadline, they can expect a sizable return... |

You want him to say he's re-signing all year and then walk as a UFA on July 1????

Any chance to reopen old wounds for Isles fans. They've had days now to be happy after the draft!
Oh, and on a similar note...
Happy Bobby Bonilla Day to all you Mets fans!!!
(But, seriously... Happy Canada Day to everyone, citizen or not!) |

Solid! Was worried he’d be over $8M.
Feel like it hurts the Keandre leverage at this point though since he essentially has to be moved. |

Yeah. Still a number of significance, but thankfully nowhere near what was speculated. |
