I think they wanted a new voice and blamed Thibs for some of the issues that were apparent against Indiana. Rose better be right because an organization that lacked structure for years, finally had it, and they decided to stir the pot again

As a very casual fan that mainly watches some playoff games I think the turnovers and surrendering of so many fast break points sealed his fate. They were so inconsistent with defense it was mind-blowing. He just didn't seem to make any adjustments. It was like watching the Rangers play basketball.

He’s a UFA.. it’s just someone I saw on the list to replace Schneider because that’s how they get Byram. Byram is the guy they really need to get imo. I just don’t know how to get Byram without Schneider going back

It might sound crazy, but I’d trade Panarin as a cap dump and not even worry about the return. The cap space and identity makeover from the decision would be monstrous as it is. And we know teams will need to hit the cap floor..so just waive him like goodrow. That could happen
