He's greedy. ...all three of them are. Its disappointing.

Mitch isn’t greedy. If he played like passenger Willy he’d easily get 120 pts. No defence, no forecheck, no PK.. (frank) he might even hit 140 pts!

seems about right, Mitch never getting 120 points with the Leafs and not helping them win a cup. but go somewhere else to do it.

The problem is that number of points are not translating to post season success.
I doubt someone even counting points on Florida team.
Ideally the good team should make playoffs without one or two players making 100+ points.

Build a balanced roster, play a good system and get good to great goaltending and you will have success.

The Panthers didn't have a single player who scored 40 goals (highest was Reinhart at 39 goals) nor anyone near 100 points (again Reinhart with 81 points led the team).

After Reinhart the next highest goal scorer was Sam Bennett with 25 goals.

but you could fit Marchand, Kane, Tanev and Toews for less than Marner
if those numbers were realistic
