Yep never was a huge fan of your blogger but you had a good group of posters in there - TPC
RW was solid enough. Put out the content. Didn't always agree with him. They should put up a "fan blog" and let us chat among ourselves. |

It’s ok. We got rid of our 34 year old with 326 career goals and 48 playoff goals as a cap dump.
But now we’ll go pay top dollar for someone else’s 33 year old with 203 career goals and 21 playoff goals.
Then have to listen to people on here talk about how brilliant it was. - nyrangers9479
Kreider going is a cap dump bc zib and panarin nmcs. Drury would move all 3 if he could |

It’s the drum I’ve always beat with Drury. He continues to prove me right time and time again. His asset management is horrific |

Agreed. Drury has a ton of flaws. However moving Kreider sucks but was necessary. They need to change the core out fully |

Vince links Rangers to trading for Bryan Rust. He’s one of Sullys guys.
Kandre for Rust🤔 where are our pens visitors
https://heavy.com/sports/...inks-rust-trade-penguins/ - Slimtj100
I think there's a good chance Rust goes this summer if he wants to. He'll have a bunch of suitors, including teams who are probably closer to a cup than the Rangers. Having Sullivan would likely increase their chances.
What is the temperature in the fan base on Laf? He is obviously signed to a big deal, any desire to move on from him? Is it too early to decide on him? Would you guys expect to get much for him or would it be more about freeing up his money and getting rid of that contract? |

Im hoping we get a fan blog as well. The funny thing, we didnt even need RW to post. We did a fine job talking amongst ourselves.

So what. It’s better than having him around for 5 years.
Where exactly is ZiB going to play on this revamped roster? - OLDSCHOOL#6
I dont disagree with you, Im just saying we have needed a RW for what 6 years since we gave Bunchy away and Drury has failed to get one.
If we retain say 1.5 mil on Zibby, that means we have to find a 1RW for 7 mil per, that isnt going to happen. |

As opposed to reading your CONSTANT negative comments about every possible move unless it’s yours! Time to take a break and go sit in a VERY dark room. |

Explain to me what’s been good. I have a ton of buddies that are Rangers fans, work with a bunch of guys that are fans, read other places etc that very few are happy with Drury. Yet I come on here, and only this place can praise a guy for taking a team that made the ECF, gutted its leadership, completely f’d the chemistry on the team/locker room, made dumb move after dumb move, yet continue to get praised. Or, “I haven’t given him a chance”. He’s been the GM for 5 years now; he’s had his chance and IMO completely gutted this teams future.
Wait until Trouba Kreider and Goodrow get traded at the deadlines for HAULS.
Yet ppl on here will still say all WE could get was cap dumps. Insanity. |

It’s been very clear they’ve been a good, not great team. Drury tried to make smalls moves to give the core a chance. Changes were needed to truly compete with teams like Edmonton and Florida and it’s finally happening. Let’s see what the team looks like in a month, I’m optimistic! |

Ok. This is me trying to have a completely rational conversation with you. Small changes needed, sure. But Drury decided to make a move for Miller (would assume that’s for a playoff push, no??) but then go into the final stretch with Sam Carrick as our 3C. I have 0 issues with Carrick as a 4C, he was great in that role. But who actually thought we’d go anywhere in the playoffs with Sam Carrick as our 3C??? So in my mind, I’m thinking why the F would u give up a 1st round pick, then what seems like intentionally not put the best roster on the ice (3C is a pretty important role) ad possibly make that 1st a potentially top 10 pick.
Kreider as a cap dump?? It’s horrific asset management. His 6.5 could’ve been kept on the roster just fine if all we got was cap space. Free agency is nothing but overpaying for guys, and if that’s Drury’s plan, he should know first hand being that he was an overpaid free agent that had to get bought out.
I’m not seeing this “vision” that’s 5 years in the making. |
