My question, is ownership ready for not being "competitive"? Because if they aren't, theres no way Conny trades vets for picks.

I think Conroy has a lot of leeway here but Ownership will want a capable playoff team for when the new arena is built in a few years. So Conny might have bonus money if he makes playoffs, which we all like to cash in but interview with the Backburner boys yesterday shows Conroy wont be chasing UFA's & wants the younger players to get in the lineup. Sidestepped Andersen questions as well. They both exchanged numbers & sounds like they are apart. We may see Andy moved, this summer, depending how far apart they are on term & money, possibly at draft. Doubt Andersen signs another hometown discount & both are saying they understand the business side of it. That to me translates to probably getting traded.
