don't know, but the ban has been lifted for many of us. the inmates have been released on good behavior

For sure. It was feeling awfully McCarthy-ish 'round these parts for a while!!
I would have loved an answer to my DM straight to the man himself for an explanation. But, in lieu of that, I will take this post and be glad we will continue to have a community surrounding Jan's Rangers blogs.

I'm really hoping to see some changes here EK but will believe it when I see it.

Back in the spring this place shut down without warning for several days, on X you said the site was undergoing maintenance and would be back with improvements. It did come back but nothing changed - other than people leaving here in droves.

Leafs blogs used to have hundreds of comments on them. Now there's only a handful on each. Bloggers have left and not been replaced, the place is riddled with ridiculous ads, and there is no moderation. I really hope the place comes back as I've enjoyed my time here. All the best.

Yay half the rangers board is back from the dead!!

Enabling rogue moderation to ban most users was an utter failure. The ban notice did everything but direct us directly the warmoven site with many of HB's former writers. The timing of these bands was also horrible, forcing many of us to look elsewhere during the draft and FA period. I strongly suggest offering something to entice users back, otherwise the 'New' HB may be DOA.

Where’s all the bloggers? Some have stated that they weren’t getting paid. Most look like they’ve jumped to Hockey Hotstove.
