Pardon my being newish here, but I have a question.

I like this place, but cannot figure out why on earth a dated hockey chat board that is losing numbers would need or want to "Ban" anyone.

This banning seems like a throwback to the beginning of cancel culture. Its not or shouldn't be a thing anymore.

OK Snot, here's the thing. Nobody know who or what happened but it sure as hell was not a simple glitch causing people to get banned and there was no consistency to who was cancelled.

What I dont get is why banning is a thing to begin with. It seems dated and childish.

I haven’t been banning like before either. Nowhere near as many posters. There used to be thousands of posts per leafs blogs and if you let the fighting start it got ugly.

This time of year is also typically quiet anyways. I am hoping that whatever was causing these ludicrous bans as of late has been truly put to an end. That wasn’t me and I have no idea what it was.

He’s more valuable now as an actual NHL’er. Only 7% of 5th round picks actually make it.

He had a good 2023-24 and was good in the playoffs. He dealt with testicular cancer in the offseason and never really got going last year. We have our new Kessel.

I think he came back half way through the season last year but was never able to really get it going.
