around the 11 minute mark there is a good chat with an attorney!

Anyone with critical thinking skills had to originally police report to read. It was clear consent was given and something didn’t add up from the get go with mommy pressuring em to go to cops.
The cell video showed the lie. The judge was right. I hope to god these players start sueing right away. #metoo #(frank)you. This is what happens when these woke bs prosecutors and media get ahold of a well intentioned movement. I fought and fought with people in this site you 2 years about this crap. I feel completely vindicated with this verdict for all the (frank) yous I gave to those who buried hart. Sadly it’s 5 guys with life halted by this. The only way to put it behind them is to sue the (frank) out of everyone they can. Then maybe the public will wake the (frank) up and their names will be cleared |

Not by me. I read the police reports. Shouted from the heavens they were innocent. The poopty flyers had the same info and choose to be woke and not qualify him instead of sticking by your player.
The funniest part even if some backlash at first it would’ve went away quickly as the story had to go through the courts and was always gonna take a long time. It wasn’t like oj trial in front page everyday.
Just another example of them dropping the ball although I don’t blame db as this would obviously come from above. - Stayin alive
Depends where. In Canada the story was on the front page every day. Im sure something like the Blackhawks sex abuse thing was a daily story in Chicago too while not really elsewhere.

Theres no such thing as clear consent. Its an ever fluctuating thing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. I can consent to something and then suddenly decide i no longer consent. With this case there was concerns that the consent video was coersed and even then her consent didnt necessarily cover everything done. Consenting to have sex doesn't mean you consent to being spit on, ass slapped, anal ect.
In the end the Judge couldn't find anything beyond a reasonable doubt that she did not consent to what was done.

Doesn’t hurt my feelings at all. I feel pity for people like you.
I think they should be reinstated and have the opportunity to resume playing. None of them are very good anyway.
But your posts speak volumes about who you are. And it’s sad that people like you exist. - TurdFergeson
Lets say the woman did provide consent and lost her head that day. Lets just look at the behavior of the guys without the legal stuff.
If they had been young horny frat boys or soldiers who have gone without sex for a long time, there behavior might have been more understandable. But these are handsome, fit, talented young men on the cusp of making millions of $. They could have many beautiful women for sex, if they wanted, just with more effort.
But it seems like they were not really looking for sex. They were there to mock the woman, taunt her, use her as an object, revel in her loss of control while maintaining full control themselves. Then, they engaged in grubby cover ups. They thought only of themselves.
Like I said, legally innocent pigs.

Lmao. Shocker a low iq human
1) this happened during #metoo movement. Many young people were taping stuff to protect themselves. So yeah that makes perfect sense for a player to be stating should we be recording this
2) she wasn’t able to prove? Yeah because she was caught lying. Go read the judges ruling. She lied about how much drinking. She lied about how drunk at the bar. She lied about drunkenness in room. The video that players asked should they be taking proved it. And damn good thing they did. She wasn’t slurring words. Stumbling didn’t look fearful. Didn’t look mentally shutdown.
3) exact opposite actually. Yet you believe her? Moron. You are the sub human. Low iq dunce that society has to deal with. Thank hod you weren’t on jury or judge. What a moron. Go watch a cartoon kiddo leave the adults to discuss important matters - Stayin alive
Those were called "consent videos." They are taken before sex. Having them taken afterwards would make no sense. Because if there was coercion for sex, the woman would also fear to say there was coercion.
The video was shot to cover their asses.
What a bunch of stand up dudes, huh? Exactly the kind you would want to be dating your daughter. 😂 |

Yeah yeah yeah except her own testimony speaks to actually defend what the players always said. And she lied on top of it. So if she truly was changing her mind about consent she never expressed it or showed it. So is it possible even if she might not have like something she still have consent? Isn’t it more likely she simply regretted some things after the fact?
And when it comes to things like sex don’t you have to express to partner or partners something isn’t wanted. In this case like the judge said “ her truth wasn’t the truth”. There’s gotta be a line drawn somewhere.
I mean the fact she was lying on the floor chirping guys for NOT banging her while fingering herself I find it hard to believe she was so upset with a little ass snack or really anything she cried about later |

Except for the fact she got caught lying. Which proves no coercion. Her lying made her not credible. When you are caught lying how are you to be believed. If anything the fact they took these videos later in the night works in players favor doesn’t it? If taken before hand can she not say that later she was so drunk she couldn’t give consent or wasn’t ok with some things? poop if I was a young guy nowadays (frank) yeah I’d have video evidence of consent. They’ve made it too easy for women to cry after the fact with consent.
Hmmm what about point of no return? She’s willing right up until a man is about to climax? Oh she says stop? No longer consent? Even though a man physically can’t. That’s ok he raped me I said stop. See how that works. There’s gotta better laws on this. And by no means am I saying that in most cases it isn’t likely that rape or whatever probably doesn’t happen but in free world courts of law most aren’t willing to send 1 innocent person to jail for ten guilty ones. Personally if you lie imo about any sexual assault and I don’t mean by a small detail like well was ten minutes or 8 minutes but big lies like you were so drunk you couldn’t stand yet video shows you standing and walking in high heels. No slurring words. No fear showing. Things like that then cases closed. Not ever wven bringing charges |

In the end I had to agree with judge. A trial is to determine if a law was broken, not to judge the morality of the girl or the boys. As a father of 3 girls, as an adult, I wanted to see justice done….and in this case it was.
For those saying “what if that was your daughter?” ….i ask What if was your son? And for gods sake please enough of this hockey culture crap….people make it sound like it’s the only sport where guys hit on girls or get them selves into a bad situation….LMAO at that one.
Lastly….Mr. Bettman….you obviously followed the trial…enough of the grandstanding…..these players were found not guilty….not because there was reasonable doubt (although that term has to be used because it laid out in the language of the law)…it’s because the Girl lied. It always felt wrong that this ever got to trial….there was a reason the original investigation went no where….and now after this circus of a a trial we all know why…
If the NHL is going to start banning players for morality issues there’s going to be a long line of banned players. |

Lying doesn't prove absence of coercion. Nor does absence of visible intoxication mean absence of alcohol induced impairment.
I accept that there was not enough evidence to convict. I don't disagree. I accept that the trial took a long time and it was hard for the players.
But if a woman is being wantonly sexual, willingly or otherwise, and if you choose to participate, it seems cold and boorish to film "consent" after. the act. That video turned my stomach. Not to speak of a number of other things they did, which suggests they were really treating her as an object to be used.
Like I said, let them continue their careers. But personally I ain't buying that merch. |

Coercion required some meeting of the minds about agenda. This obviously didn’t happen before event. A simple text hey got a live one here room 217 doesn’t prove coercion.
Could they have coercion during act? Possible but unlikely. I mean when was their time to huddle up while em was busy blowing guys and jumping to bathroom to bang or drinking with the players or doing her solo act on the floor and chirping guys for doing what she wanted?
It’s ok to say you simply don’t like the scene and will not support players in future but coercion? Not a chance
Also the text after the next day when players found out she went to police actually prove there wasn’t coercion. Actually the opposite as judge pointed out. Tell the truth they said. We did nothing wrong they said. There was no trying to get “story” straight. Makes the players case even more strong. |

Not sure what the bolded statements means.
I think you have some kind of gunpoint rape in mind. Coercion can also be implicit. This is one of the reasons why most corporate settings forbid personal relationships, even if they are consensual. The power dynamics between a superior and a subordinate means that the latter might feel implicit coercion.
In this case, one possibility is that the woman did have consensual sex with someone, got carried away, and suddenly found herself in a room with lots of guys, and felt she had to play along.
Whether it was rape or not, the guys embarrassed themselves. Too often, men have been allowed to get away with this kinda crap with the boys will be boys mentality. If a woman wants to have sex with you, or a bunch of you, have fun but consider it a privilege. Don't demean her and thus yourself.
I am gonna exit on that note.

Corp implicit coercion. Hmmmm never heard of such a thing leading to legal charges face jail time because a boss (frank)ed a subordinate. Fired yes maybe but sorry that’s not a legal thing pertaining to this case. There was no coercion
She was the ringleader. Laying on floor begging to get (frank)ed while fingering self and CHIRPING players for not playing along doesn’t scream she was being demeaned. Especially since she lied through case |

Yeah, that’s pretty much what I imagined as well. Plus, when sex is offered at that age by a pretty girl (I assume), the little head will often take over. Takes some maturity to see the situation for what it is, and pampered 19 year olds who have never really faced consequences are gonna have a hard time passing on it.
I’m not accepting their behavior. It was a scummy thing to do. Just stating what it was.
Was it shady? Sure. Most definitely. Was it illegal? Doesn’t seem to be.
I know pretty girls have certainly gotten me to do foolish things, especially at that age. But you grow up and learn how to handle yourself.
There’s a good chance that the situation looming over Hart’s head caused regression in his game, too. If he never took part in that garbage, I wonder if his career would have continued positively. |

Yeah, I know I’ve done things that not everyone would approve of. Sex can be pretty relative. As long as those involved are all aboard, you do you. I agree.
Doesn’t make you a bad person.
You just gotta watch yourself.
Who hasn’t had drunken and/or anonymous sex?
I understand it’s way harder for their generation, as nothing is private nor does it ever disappear. I grew up with the “walk of shame” and talked to myself as to whether or not that was smart, worth it, or even worth revisiting it for a second go ‘round. That was it. Live and learn. Be smarter. |

The hypocrisy is what boils my blood. Whether it’s people casting stones like a holier than thou attitude regarding their opinions of morality or corp like nhl passing disgusting judgement playing god and picking and choosing who or what is moral while hiding behind profits. I want to punch bettman in the face for the statement on players of wj team while blindly looking past instances like Panarin as recent as last season.
