It sure looks like Tarasenko has to prove himself to the rest of the league. If he looks to be the old Tank and is scoring there will be lots of interest. At the same time if he is lighting it up the Blues may decide against trading him. Armstrong will never get more than a draft pick or two for him until he proves he is back. Personally I hope he lights it up and remains a Blue. |

I keep hearing this crap about the Blues defense and needing size or this or that.
It was clear when the Blues were surging that Walman was getting more ice time and driving a lot of that. I think the Blues kept him out of the narrative hoping not to lose him in expansion. When the Blues played the worst in the play offs they lacked him and Perron.
Schwartz was terrible offensively. Otherwise good. Then you get two upgrades at the wing. That's a big chqnge, especially speed wise. |

The only issue I have with Tarasenko is does he want to be here? If he underperforms I hate the fact he is holding back Kyrou's development. I think Kyrou could be ready to take Tarasenko's spot in the top six.Thoughts? |

Agreed, I think Kyrou is a more responsive player to the Chief's coaching as opposed to VT. But overall I agree with your assessment. Does VT want to be in St. Louis? I don't think so. |

Honestly im not against keeping Tarasenko it could be a win win for the Blues. He could be the old Tank and score like he did which will help the Blues. Then if he scores like old then his stock is surely to rise and it would make it easier for us to move him if we decide that is what we wanna do.
As far as our defense i think we are a little thin but im hoping that Mikkola will improve from last season because i wasnt impressed. I would like to see us pickup a vet dman some how that way we wouldnt have to rely on a couple of 2nd year guys in our 6.
Hopefully Husso comes out and plays a little better also i think if he plays better that will hopefully push Binner to be great also.
Lots of question marks for sure. |

I have another issue with Tarasenko and it really bothers me. He seems to happy on the ice chatting with your enemy and joking around. One night the Blues were losing 6-1 and he was smiling and chatting with the opposition. He kind of thinks he is everything. I would have benched him and gave him strict orders to get with the programs, this is war and not a social stroll. |
