I have to wonder what Huberdeau and Weeger are thinking right now. As Gretzky said, Tkachuk is the face of this team, he hates to lose. |

Missed all of this as I was otherwise busy running around house and possibly yelling like a lunatic.

Chukky with the “Let’s go home, baby!” celebration.
LoL at the Carolina fan (?) congratulating him as he bolted off the ice.
Notice how exhausted Bob was after. (LoL, don’t jump on your goalie after 7 periods!) Amazing game from him, and also from Andersen.
Oh, and Zito with a Gudas like yell next to Lu |

How is Marc Staal doing for you guys ? I knew he'd be a good pickup for any team. He was a solid defenseman while in Detroit. Too bad we couldn't keep him... but we are in a rebuild. |

Slow as hell and that gets him in trouble sometimes. Otherwise he’s still Reliable and steady. Played all 82 games. Still used on the pk, too. |

I have no complaints. He brings a veteran presence and plays more of a stay-at-home game that the Panthers need. People complain about his slowness, but I don’t really notice it.
I like his grit too. |

I agree with Matt Ross, Marc Staal is playing great. He a solid defenseman who has added stability to the blue line. Zito has made great moves considering he was hampered by the salary cap. |

you know you noticed it when Nylander, from a zone further away, is about to beat him to the loose puck. Go Mark Go!!
I agree with everything you say. Usually his speed is not a problem, though, as He knows he is slow, and usually doesn’t put himself in bad places. |

LOL
Sure, there’s been times he’s been beat, but he’s solid more often than not. |

Young Barky would skated back past Raanta and apologized for making him look sooooo bad.
Game has totally flipped around. |

I don’t follow the Canes, so I didn’t know what was going on with the Raanta decision, but it kind of surprised me.
He’s been good for them though. |

LoL, did you see Mark get caught from behind, and beaten to a loose puck in D corner? The wily old bastard let him by and then worked him into the boards
The other thing that should be mentioned about M Staal, he’s been paired with Montour all season long. Montour is tearing it up, Staal sits back and let’s him roam. |

They aren't losing due to goaltenders. They're losing cause they don't have enough skilled forwards that can finish. |

The more skilled scoring team takes another OT thriller.
Amazing stuff. Two more wins and Panthers can claim to be Florida’s team of the future. |

And BOB has been SPECTACULAR! The Canes have seriously outshot the Cats in both games! Bob is the difference! |
