Nice job keeping the young-ins on the roster. For all that endless talk back and forth the last week or so. Let’s move on and play hockey. Lets go Flyers. |

Just a few more days and then it’s game on!
If Couturier and Atkinson stay healthy the offense should be better the goaltending should be good too but the defense is the big weakness. |

Phils just choked this series away - THE BLACK HAND
They lost one game and go back home tied just like last year. The series is not over. |

this is a different Braves team. They should have buried them early. The margin for error against a team like that is zero |

Like the Twins, they came out even on the road. A loss is a loss no matter how devastating. They gotta dig deep now. LOB 11-2. You’re right. You gotta get some of those guys in. |

I’m not sure they’re vastly different from last year’s team that also finished first with over 100 wins. Stinks they didn’t go up 2-0 but I think any fan would take a split coming home for two games. |

It came down to two bad pitches. Phillies have a chance to go home and take care of business. Red October.

you really thought the phillies would shut them out all the way? |

I will eat some crow. It took an injury to Risto but they injected some youth. The kids earned it and the club was honest to their word. Happily wrong about not playing the kids. |

Let’s see if they are actually in the lineup and not just on the roster |

Insert eyeroll here ... this is a new Era of Orange, the rebuild is real, the kids will play ...
Seriously though, I would think you would be ecstatic right now; Frost is the 2C, the kids all made the team and RR is on injured reserve |

And you can all thank John Tortorella for this. He is the one that talked rebuild from the footings, before anyone else in the organization would dare to. He is the one that cleaned out the locker room of complacent players like Hayes and trouble-makers like DeAngelo. He is the one that convinced management the team needed to get younger. He is the one that played Cates in every situation last year, and the one coach that finally turned Frost in the right direction. And finally, I am sure he is the one that pushed for Brink, Foerster and Andrae to all make the opening night roster. It's about time Torts gets some credit here for finally talking some sense into Comcast and being the catalyst for this long overdue rebuild. |

LOL. we'll see. It's a long season. When Ristolainen comes back, someone goes down.
We know how your predictions of a new era go. |

If only someone at Comcast realized that the sooner they get rid of Tortorella, the better. How soon this season will Briere have to talk to Tortorella about playing young players more?
