Yea Nico got his bell rung twice. I admire him for going into the dirty areas, but we've heard multiple times how hes top 5 in the league in received hits. There's gotta be some adjustments he can make to avoid this. Head up, bulk up, wise up.. idk. Hate to see the captain being subjected to this.

Relieved to get the win last night. Was something to watch trying to get that empty net goal lol. Mercer just wide, Haula breaks the stick, other shots blocked. Vitek made some nice saves. Maybe we swap Dawes and Schmid for a bit?

I think we'll have around 17m to play with this offseason. So far, signing Toffoli is a must. Mercer is a RFA. The goalie situation. Nemec should be ready for Smith/Miller's spot. There was a little concern Toffoli wouldn't be able to keep up with Jack, but man he's all that and a bag of chips. What a guy.

We need to buyout Palat. Always felt like he was a panic signing. He’s a 4th liner making $6M/yr.

Put Holtz in the top 6 in his spot and bring in someone like Graeme Clark to take Palat’s bottom 6 role.

Jack is such a stud, it’s actually surprising when a game goes by and he doesn’t get a point. I wonder if all the fans that were calling him a bust penned their apology letter yet.

Giving up 3+ goals a game continues

Man Mercer is really fighting it, cant even bury it on an empty net.

Decent game from Vitek overall, especially on the PK. The 3rd goal was awful and definitely one he wants back, but you can live with it if its just one. He carried the PK today for sure though.

Probably the best overall game from the defense, in particular the top 4. Didnt give up much with them on the ice at 5v5. Something to hopefully build on there.
