Hey Brandon, good to see a familiar face around.

I don't agree on your take for Dach, other than injuries might be his undoing. If he can remain healthy, I think he is 100% a top 6 forward.

As for Newhook, I really liked him as the 3C with Armia and Gallagher. They seemed to gel well together and their parts put together made them better as a whole. If we go into next season with that as the 3rd line, I am pretty good with that. Assuming Armia does not regress and Gallagher can still skate.

As for the 5th pick, I don't have Galchenyuk (or even KK vibes) , given the management we now have in place. I really like the idea of Lidstrom, but when all is said and done, they will get a really good (likely forward) player at 5.

I still have faith in HuGo... I do not think the actual draft pick will be the make or break, but the trades he probably makes over that week to bolster the team.

Expect the unexpected.

41 days.

Dach is another projectable player that has shown nothing really exciting at the NHL level except for his unfortunate ability to incur debilitating, season ending injuries. Sorry, but Dach has no future for MTL.

damn, that's harsh lol. I know he's missed more games than he's played so far, but when he was healthy and playing he definitely looked like a top-6 player, not sure where your assessment comes from exactly but to each his own I guess. hopefully he'll stay away from the injury bug and will prove you wrong next season.

ah yes, the good ol' days, when covid wasn't a thing yet, and Twitter was still called Twitter.

can you believe that people born in the year 2000 are now 24 years old..? that's insane.

If he proves me wrong I’ll be happy but I don’t think we can include him in any core projections.
