I distinctly recall many fans were ridiculing CAR when Dundon bought the team and made Waddell GM. There are few front offices that have been better managed than CAR under Waddell. How much of that was Tulsky's input is unknown, but I look forward to seeing what he does.

When Don Waddell was named President of the Hurricanes they were averaging 12,000 fans per night and were on the verge of financial ruin.

They had the smallest scouting staff in the league, had missed the playoffs 5 straight years... just a mess.

Don did a great job with the Canes and any team would be lucky to have him as GM.
