Fairly middling in terms of 5v5 possession. Near 50% across the board in shot attempts, shots, etc. Small sample size though.

Had a goal, an assist, and drew a penalty in the first game of the season. Was flying around the ice. The eye test and the conventional stat sheet prevail in this case.

Ryan Lomberg leads the NHL in penalties drawn per 60 at 11.01.

Pospisil needs more time playing center. Being on a line with Huberdeau and Mantha is a great spot for him. The line looks good, all 3 had goals last game. That snipe from Pospisil was first class.

I am happy if they were going to come bottom 5 but is Hubby keeps on said pace which is a bit much but say 80points, I am not unconvinced the flames can't be winners either I think tonight is the tale if edmonton flops out of the gate again.
