Well the Oiler play in the Pacific. And over in the west, Demko is out for the Canucks, the Kings are winning but the Offense looks a little weak. Vegas is better than I thought. But there not as strong as they were three years ago. And the Kracken look OK. Seattle has never been a dominant team. They are usually a bubble team. So it's a winnable division.
But if I were the Oilers, then job #1 is just make the playoffs. I wouldn't really care where i finished. I would believe that this team is good enough to beat anyone in the western conference. Match ups be darned. And on the chance that the Oilers don't make the playoffs then they can just try to to get a top ten pick by trading away some veteran players.

Eklund thanks again for all you do. Still waiting for the Pacific predictions. One thing you have to consider with the Oilers is all the pressure they have on them. It’s fun watching the Flames play so far loose and aggressive on both ends of the ice. They don’t have that mentality like last year when who’s traded! They can just play hockey and the tribute for JG, makes me proud to be a Flames fan, Johnny will always be a Flame.

Let’s ask Augello. You know the guy who keeps insisting he’s a reporter and not a fan ! LMAO ! I watched the buzz cast for some time but last year was it for me ! I mean when you had a real reporter on like Kevin and even Russ these are legit writers with various capabilities ! To have a person to insist the oilers suck and figures they won’t make the playoffs from the beginning of the season is comical. The clown was serious! There is no legitimacy, so many times I’ve seen Kevin Allen roll his eyes so many time during Augello outbursts it’s pathetic. I understand you all have been together for a long time . Honestly I couldn’t hold back anymore the guy is ridiculous and is just a fan. I would venture to say this guy lost any credibility with his ongoing tirades against the Oilers. This follows his previous years of writing up his signs on the islanders “ITS OVER” as the roll into the playoffs. I still give the 20 bucks cause why not ? There are some really good writers for the team blogs , that’s worth 20 bucks a year. Mike isn’t one of those in my opinion !
