Agreed.

I hope his ceiling is a little higher than that, but I also agree that a solid 50-point guy is not a bad thing. Darcy Tucker Part Two would be nice, but I'd also take Wendel Clark Part Two.

He's only 19, but he might have had a better shot at making the roster on a team that is desperate for quality forward depth, but that's one area where the Leafs are sitting pretty and can afford to let Cowan properly marinate in the minors before rushing him up.

He's on IR but hasn't practiced since being placed on it - so even though he'd be eligible on Wednesday, I doubt he'll be ready.

I think I read that "He's improving," as an update. Improving from what and to what is, of course, not disclosed!
