Too expensive. Adding $3.57 mill to the cap and only getting rid of $3. Dewar isn’t against the cap atm. Basically I agree with everything you’re saying but just add “drop Myers to The Marlies or trade him” and your solution works except you have Marner (the leafs current points leader tied with Domi… and yes I know I say WTF as well lol) and Jarnkrok backwards.

Swapping Marner with Jarnkrok may make line 3 better defensively, but it makes line 1 - which gets roughly 3 - 5 more 5v5 minutes / game than line 3 - much weaker (the only game which had a more relative line roll-out was against LA because the score was so lopsided).

I'd also keep Dewar and trade Holmberg. I just don't see Holmberg doing anything useful.
