I personally like Gallant as he gets a lot out of teams with mediocre talent. Federov would also be really interesting and exciting for the fan base. But truly if yzerman continues to not pull the trigger maybe we should talk about Scotty Bowman or Dale Tallon for GM.

Gallant is a head case and destroys team moral.
He has a very short leash before people figure out he’s toxic. Now you want Bowman or Tallon 😆😆😆😆😆😆

If Y is in sell-mode this year, as I now belive that will happen, then it does not matter if Lalonde finishes out the season. If a coach like Sully becomes available, there is good reason to make a move.
I say no to Gallant, there has to be good reasons that he has been fired mid season so many times.
I also think Y gets a pass for 1 more full year. He assembled this mess and gets 1 more season to make it better.

Yzerman should go with him

Gallant has worked wonders with teams that were given no chance. He has taken has beens and leftovers (Vegas) and turned them into competitive hockey teams. He would be a huge upgrade over dumb as nails Lalonde. The players that play for Gallant love him and his problems seem to come from management kind of like Ted Nolan. Fake news says he is mind case etc Plse refer your sources. Sound kinda like fake news same fake news that said Trump would lose election. The facts are Gallant wins hockey games and Trump wins elections. Snowflakes are melting everywhere. Time to stop believing in Lalonde and possibly Yzerman.
