Drury needs to save this season and his job by trading Trouba as soon as possible.
Trouba is a leader and the team Captain. On the ice he leads but example. That's the way he plays hockey. It's all he knows.
But in that locker room he isn't present any longer because he knows how he has been treated and what's to come.
Drury has got to do something and fix the mess he has created.
If the Rangers are to have any success this season, they need to find another team Captain to replace Trouba's leadership qualities once he's gone. Without a locker room leadership presence, this team is lost. |

I don’t buy that he is not a presence in the locker room. He can fight but is not strong on his feet. The rangers can’t match the size of the Canadians. It’s always been an issue with this team not having enough grit. The black and blue rangers were much tougher to play against. Good to see them win, but still lefty of work to do. |

A better effort overall, for sure. But, what did we have, probably about 25 turnovers at our own blue line? So careless. |

Tomorrow night will tell me more if this team actually is heading in the right direction. Two points was nice yesterday but man it was still a huge struggle to win that game verse a sub par team |

Better overall but this team just seems like they stink this year. Sloppy on the ice, awful defense, typically really easy to play against. Haven’t watched the rangers look this bad since the dark ages.

A win is a win. Ugly ones count but they need to play a full 60 minutes to gain confidence moving forward. They seem very fragile. Tomorrow would be a nice test and a huge win to get. Just don’t have much confidence that will happen
Anyway, if they can find a way to trade Zibanejad to me Ottawa is the most likely destination. Because they need a shake up, they've been brutal too.
Maybe for Norris, or a bigger one with Tkachuk |

Lol, Mika isnt waiving for Ottawa, nor is Ottawa gonna trade Norris for someone 8-9 years older.

Mika and Trouba both have to go. I dont know what happened to the Selke nominee in Mika, but even that has gone.
Maybe 3 years in a row of being up 2-0 in a playoff series and losing, twice in the ECF, has gotten to their heads. Maybe the guys are feeling a little defeated. Maybe the guys believe that it doesnt matter anymore. Complacency and just going through the motions at this point. |

You have a team I can laugh at you about?
I gave you Ottawa (you know the team who drafted him), gimme a team. Find a team I dare ya
He should move to RW. That might be the solution for now. Less things to do over there |

Mika going to be the toughest to move. I truly think Trouba Lindgren miller are gone by the summer. Two of the three at the tdl

Im just saying hes a problem, I dont have a solution. Maybe moving to wing could work, happens all the time a C gets moved to wing, but hes still winning over 50% of his faceoffs. |

The only way Zib leaves is if he can’t handle the NY media and the way players get dragged down and he begs to leave. That could happen but I don’t think it’s there yet. For now get him away from center and let Kakko play there, Zib can shoot the puck we know that. Becoming a RW sniper (ala what Vatrano was doing) may save his tenure here imo, otherwise the media and fans will make his life misrableeeeeeeeee
Miller btw, yesterday on one of the goals basically figure skated to the blue line on the right side of the ice and his guy was wide open in front and they scored. Of all the guys, Miller is the biggest problem on this roster. Every game he finds new ways to (frank) up. |

It’s the only hope imo. I gave and some gave him a pass for last year, but it’s evident he is killing this team playing center now. He take faceoffs but get to the circles and shoot the puck and cover the boards defensively instead of the center |

I think this is the biggest problem in the lockerroom. Not necessarily on the ice. Hes like a lame duck HC, except his the captain and player. Everyone knows he’s gone after the year |

All have valid reasons they have to go.
Lindgren one year deal body broken down and won’t be back.
Miller doesn’t deserve his raise and way to inconsistent
Trouba just has never been good and his contrast was worse.
Mika the hardest to swallow as he was productive but his decline is faster then expected. Thought he would age by 33 not 31

Yea it’s hard to argue this much longer. I waive the white flag on some things lol
Miller i wouldn’t even QO and just let him walk. Idk if they could trade him for much of anything. But they cannot under any circumstances give him a new contract and raise unless he improves drastically (which seems highly unlikely). He has regressed the most out of any player I can ever remember over the course of a couple of seasons. Whatever happened last year may have ruined his career (the mental break thing), because he hasn’t recovered from it |

Neil Pionk is a pending UFA, how ironic would it be if we get rid of Trouba only to bring back Pionk? |

Meh. I know he’s having a good year but he’s not the guy I’d want. I really would like them to get Provorov and play him with Fox. He’s a horse, plays close to 24 minutes a night |
