Well. It's a weird move by Pat Verbeek. Uro Vakinanen was a Depth Defenseman for the Ducks. He had trouble making the Bottom pairing for Anaheim. Brain Doumilan basically made Vakeninen tradable. Trouba will actually help the Ducks make it above the Cap floor. So maybe trading Gibson, Fowler, Vatrano will be easier now. And the Ducks will probably have to keep acquiring Veteran players though trade. Free agency isn't really a reliable way to aquire players right now. And things are kinda stale in Anaheim right now. So adding some Veteran players could help mix things up. Or at least Greg Cronin will be able to shuffle his lines a little more to see if he can find some production if the Ducks addd more Veteran players. Ducks could still use another veteran Foward. Particularly a shooter.

great move by the Rangers GM Drury to get rid of Trouba and his cap hit of almost $9 m...puts Rangers in a good spot to add for their run.......Trouba was terrible in playoffs last year and was having a very bad season and he was a problem in that dressing room between management and players apparently as evidenced by his interview post trade...too much drama in NYC

Great move to see Truoba go to his favorite team the Ducks.

As a Flyers fan, I hope the Rangers keep on adding. What are they going to add to make them a legit top contender? If Zibanejad going to have a resurgence? They need another top defenseman. Going to be difficult.
