Hey, Jeremy, on the road for work….. watched the Cossa game and was happy to see him play.

He seemed to track the puck well, and limited massive rebounds/dumb mistakes. He’s got some growing to do, but this kid’s gonna be ok.

This win’s just a win. The D played, nothing spectacular. Lots of work needs to be done. We know the SCPO is a pipe-dream and that’s ok, wanna see improvement. The team just seems lost…. i dunno.

Now there are rumors we’re in on JT Miller…. Numbers are good but if we tow to tow with Tochett over game plan/deployment, what the heck is he going to do with Lalonde??? Wouldn’t mind having him, but would be interested in what truly happened w/Tocker….

It’s interesting for sure. I feel like such a jerk saying it but I still think if they have the opportunity to get a new head coach they should. Reality is that if they are interviewing (rumors, not even well founded rumors) it doesn’t happen until Summer. There is a disconnect and it is palpable. Cool drop in! Thanks brother. Miss when you’re not here!

Here is an excellent article I wanted to share when I read it. Bob Duff makes some really good points... and gives more evidence as to why LaLonde needs to be replaced. He's got the same dumb mentality that Blashill and Babcock have of not wanting to play the young players.

Yep, read it myself. All I can say is ALL of this ^^^

There are some shoddy players well, but if this team is serious about building a winner, significant changes need to be made. And I whole-heartedly agree that kids need to play…..

Buddy, Lalonde’s a nice guy. Truly. BUT, unless you have an Hall of Fame roster like we did 5-ever ago, nice ain’t gonna cut it. Not saying the coach needs to be a jerk, but mercy doesn’t make winners. There’s a time to be nice, this ain’t the time. I think, at this point, IF there’s a change on the staff, it happens in summer.

I try to stop in, but work is killin’ me….. I’ll try to drop a note more often, but know I check for your new blog several times a day. Your write-ups and the folks who are here or drop in are truly awesome!

I had to turn the game off tonight after the shorthanded "Gus Goof". There were sooo many errors tonight it made it really hard to watch. I heard the boo birds for Philly on one of their pp's - I can imagine what the Detroit fans would have been doing midway through the 2nd - MAJOR BOO BIRDS!!!! Very sad to see a pro team play like this.

Nope. Nothing changed. They went right back to laxadasical, uninspiring play tonight against the Flyers.

Didn’t watch, listened to a bit of the end of the 1st, was stuck in Charlotte airport.

This isn’t about doing anything other than improving and that’s not happening. Gus is moved from shockingly bad to simply embarrassing. Looks like that defines the whole game…. At least 2 of the 4 were EN…

Top 5 draft choice, get game time for the kids and see what we have after GRG wins it all? Not sure what to say. I want to watch (I record all DRW games…), but I kinda don’t.
