Thanks Sean.
Skinner has as much value as Kuzmenko. Both have been watching games eating popcorn, collecting $. I highly doubt any team would call either Alberta team and ask for the players that are sitting in the press box.
Skinner would need a sweetener to be gone. Another outstanding signing.

Do Perry next.

I mean you're comparing a guy who has a 5.5 million dollar cap hit, averages 15 minutes a game and has 1 goal (and a powerplay goal) in Kuzmenko and a guy with a 3 million dollar cap hit, averaging 12.5 minutes a game and has 7 goals (at 5 on 5) in Skinner so in terms of value I think it's clear who has more value right now.

I still think it's in the best interest of the Oilers to find a spot for Skinner in this lineup and linemates who can cover his deficiencies.

I like Perry on the team. He's lost a step or 6, but he has a wicked high hockey IQ. Not sure why we picked up Kapanen though. TSN has him listed as a team worst -11 in Oil silks.

Hey I agree with you but to think someone is going to come calling for healthy scratch Skinner is about as hopeful as Kuzmenko interest.
Cap hit doesn’t matter when you have space like the Flames. Oilers not so much.

They probably thought they were 1 forward short.

It's games like this that affirm my belief that we have #1 goalie in Stuart Skinner.

Just concentrate on shoring up the defense at the deadline.

If only the Oilers' defense was as good as Sean's.

He's better yes but still has those Luongo-style choke moments. Once he mentally gets past that in PO's he'll be killer...if he can.
