Ty Anderson: Should Bruins be sellers this deadline?

Looking at the Bruins you see a team that made a good run over the years. Even if they make the playoffs they neither have the team or the assets to strongly improve and make a run. They would be out within two rounds. Next year this team will be around last in the east without fresh blood.

The Bruins will be thrown into the same bucket as Pittsburgh a bottomless bucket. Get that sinking feeling. Perhaps the need for a rebuild like the Rangers or Montreal have moved forward with. Right now the cupboard is empty and retooling will only be possible with assets especially picks. But beware the Sabres have been on a 15 year rebuild without success.

Maybe they should.

But if there's a sliver of chance they can reap 2+ home playoff $$ they probably will not be sellers.
