Deal around those 2 makes sense. I really do feel like the first leaf domino is going to drop within the next week.

I mean, the guy is not a bad player and might be a good add, but I don't think a Tanev type should be a priority here. He's not going to bring offense, but he's certainly better than any of Reaves, Holmberg, or Yarncock.

He's a 33-yo pending UFA making $3.5m now and will surely be looking for a raise.

I'd do it as a rental maybe, but the price would have to be cheap. And that probably won't happen. Tree would resign him to 8x6m and screw the pooch on it.
