Seriously though, and politics aside - the US is wrong for being a Richard to Canada.

Canadian soldiers fought and died alongside US and European troops on the beaches of Normandy to defend the free world. They have been a reliable partner in the war against Al Qaeda, ISIS, and terrorists.

When 9-11 happened, Canada welcomed stranded US travelers and took them into their homes.

Canada has been that really solid neighbor everybody wants. They keep their yard clean and trees trimmed. They're friendly and respectful. They don't throw big loud parties. They don't park in your grass. They'll let you borrow their mower if your's breaks down. Just good neighbors.

Negotiating fair trade is one thing. Being a unnecessary Richard about it is not cool.

So, I hope Team North Michigan spanks the Tka(up)chuks and sends them home with a loss. And I hope they get the poop boo'ed out of them.

Our yard is far from clean. In fact our yard now is made in China and overseen by east indians, Muslim values taking over the founding Christian values, while Canadians continue their march towards being the minority in their own country.

I hate Trump but Canada has needed to get their poop together for a long time. It's downright embarrassing we are among the weakest links in Nato and can't even meet HALF of our basic minimal contributions towards doing our part with our military.

We might be good neighbours, but it probably gets annoying when you keep going next door to bum darts and mooch drinks, and bring nothing to the party.

Sad but true, anything and anyone can easily come and go, in and out of this country freely while.mooching free health care and social funds and services off the backs of real hard working proud Canadians. Not the twats who come here for the convenience and freedoms with no desire to be seen as Canadian.

I don't see Palestinians protesting tarrifs, but they'll disrupt our daily lives and streets and events over something going on in the middle east but will never do the same in support of this country. We have gone way off course to being a country that caters to the values of outsiders who don't give two poops about the well being of Canada.

If Sweden beats Finland and USA beats Canada (both in regulation), USA could purposely tank their game against Sweden to eliminate Canada.

I agree. But that's part of it. We been so ignorant and soft the Russians and Chinese medle hard in our elections and political ranks. Agreed no need to be a Richard and we should be fighting in solidarity but it took a Richard for us to finally (hopefully?) take a hard look at ourselves.
