Are we allowed to say this wasn’t the right time to trade for Miller yet? Or is trading for him still the turning point in the season that gets us to the Cup ….. |

So, you think trading for the 12th highest scorer over the last 4 seasons made 17 other guys play like they don't give a poop, eh? Your insight is astounding. |

ooooh look who wants to turn the place uncivil again
the tone of saying "are we allowed" absolutely says you want to start a fight on here, and I'm game if you'd like to go that way |

Im sorry Jan this isnt the same team as last year. Drury unceremoniously jettison three players who were obviously were the heart and soul of this team. The inconsistent and lifeless play of this team is astonishing. There is no fire and no passion.
Im not saying the contracts didnt need to be moved, it should have happened at the end of this season, not last. Hindsight is 50/50 but it is life. Remember that guy Trouba, Captain, who go into a fight in early December and threw his helmet in the middle of the ice and yelled at his team to wake up? They went on a tear afterwards.
Now, there is no fight, no helmet throwing, no passion, just oh well we didnt play hard enough.
Yes boo hoo they are millionaires, players get traded all the time and should play, it is deeper than that, Drury broke something and had the blessing of Dolan to do it. What a mess, this team wont be contending again for years. |

The trade was good trade Drury won, just getting a first round pick for Chytl would have been an over payment, we got Miller who is definitely an upgrade but I see your point of view too. 4 more years of a most likely declining Miller on a middling team. |

I understand the emotions that come with dealing players that have been the heart and soul and core of the team. I also understand that while that sucks, it’s a business. We as fans sometimes don’t see the matter. Players either. The funk lasted for 19 games. They finally showed signs of waking up. Using the excuse of trading those “core” members shouldn’t apply after finally seeming to get back on track.
You lose because you lack talent, that happens. You lose because you display no heart or effort or get outworked, that’s on you as a player. Plus it’s in management for not getting you ready to play or making sure you are ready to play. |

JT Miller is in year 2 of a 7 year deal.
If anyone wants to knock the deal and say it was just an attempt to make the playoffs in 2025 and nothing more they are an idiot
But. Look who are we dealing with here |

He’s going to be the identity of this team moving forward and a great mentor for these young forwards here and on their way. |

What fight will you give? The team was 8-6 in January and 9-10 with Miller. How much better has Miller made the team? |

Chytil is already hurt again and Mancini is a depth defenseman. They traded a 1st round pick for point per Game Center who also is physical and plays a hard game. He also is locked up long term. This trade is a home run |

Yea that’s the issue with the miller trade. Upgrade and great player. By the time they can contend how good will he actually be?
Need to retool and contend quickly to make the trade really work out |

Like he was in Vancouver?
He got bounced out of the Rangers, bounced out of Tampa and then bounced out of Vancouver, is he really Captain material? |

Im stating facts here Jim, nothing more. Unlike some who just jump to conclusions, I like to take in a bit and see some facts.
Facts are facts, he is a talented player but he was traded from NY, he was traded from Tampa, he was traded from Vancouver and we all know he didnt get along with EP. We all know the player he is just not the person. Seeing that he is a good player but just cant stick to a team tells me something, maybe he isnt Captain material. |

Well as I see it, I respond to an aggressor with an appropriate response. You like to call people names and not respect peoples thoughts or comments and I like to remind you that you are definitely not the all knowing hockey pundit like you think you are.
May I also remind you that its not only last year we didnt win the Cup, its been 30 years. 1 in 85 years.
Perhaps the Rangers should change their philosophy of getting big name stars, it hasnt really worked out for them since that Guy Messier was here. |

You didn’t respond to Tony’s post, the 2nd post of the day. Why is that. That seems sarcastic and not respectful of an opinion. |

Tony does respect others opinions and his post also Tony makes a good point, being sarcastic doesnt rise to the level of calling others names, belittling them and just disrespecting their opinion.
You think your ideas and opinions are whats best for the team, you disregard others as always being wrong, thats why I diagnosis you as being a narcissist. |

Once again you continued to say something that many on here have said they dislike and find it offensive yet you cant respect there simple ask. Its not like you are speaking it, you are typing it. You are not a nice person and you dont play well with others. Like I said, you dont respect anything or anybody.
Perhaps you should just go away and not interact with others. |
