Usually rooting for Florida but Ekblad should have been penalized 5 and a game. No way he should have been on the ice to score the tying goal. Horrible officiating.

Same here. I'm 100% pulling for Florida, but that was a brutal hit.

i originally thought bad hit as well but then this morning I seen a lot of videos comparing it to the draisaitl hit last spring that looked extremely identical and he got jack squat for it. I do think Ekblad will get a game so that Tampa doesnt burn to the ground in outrage

I really do not have an issue with the hit in a sense that it appears Ekblad is slows down and is pushing him forward with his arm. Ekblad does place his stick in between Hagels legs causing him to go backwards with a can opener move.

Because he has been suspended before I say the league gives him two games. Not that I agree, but the league does not see things clearly.
