Actually Sean, on a ppg basis McDavid is actually producing more than Rantanen.

Walman at 15GF-6GA is super impressive. What a great pickup.

It’s gonna be a monster for sure. I’ve got Dallas in six….

Duchene can’t suck any more than he did … and you’d think Seguin & Benn will come to play.

Also Miro is an absolute Monster - and he’s just starting to get ramped up.

- I will say the oil are gonna present a huge, huge problem for Dallas.

Dallas was considered the favorite last year against the Oil and we know how that went. Oil are deeper this year than last also.

In terms of points per game you are correct, still Rantanen has 9 goals to Drai’s 5 and McDavid’s 3.

If the Conn Smythe was given today it would go to Rantanen… that being said it isn’t being given today

Your trolling on the Leafs thread was sad, amateurish and embarrassing for all Oilers fans. Stay in your lane, Kid.

That describes your posts on a daily basis.

It's called light teasing with constructive criticism mixed in. They're already suffering enough, no need to kick them too hard right after that debacle tonight.

No, it was cheap, lame and unnecessary, and you were absolutely kicking them when they were down, which is fine , but at least be funny.

I don't really agree with all of this. The Stars' stats are against Colorado and Winnipeg. The Oilers played a decent LA team, but not so deep with quite a few holes, and a Vegas team that just sucked and were out of their depth (literally). While the Oilers' bottom half really have done amazing, i think there is a measure of over-acheivement there. The Stars bottom half is quite a bit better in my opinion, and Ottenger is just miles ahead in terms of goalie comparison. I think this series is over before it starts....BUT...there is the McDavid factor. If the Oilers can get their power play clicking and McDavid takes over like last year, they can do it. Dallas however has just completed not one but TWO wars. This is going to be a tough one. I hope our Oilers can pull it off.

Walman is a stud! What an amazing pickup!
Bouchard remains the most over-rated NHL player.

does anyone know when Ekholm might return? That would be an extremely nice boost!

Seriously? You think Dallas is that much better than Edmonton? Funny, that's the same thing people were thinking last year when these 2 teams met. Look how that ended.

I give the edge to the Oilers. This team knows how to win in the playoffs. They thrive off adversity time and time again. Coming back from multiple 0-2 playoff rounds, almost completing the greatest comeback in Finals history and Ekholm is hopefully ready for game 3 this round.

They absolutely dismantled the Knights all without their #1 dman.

All these great players in the NHL, the separator is the mental aspect. This Oiler team has that second part nailed down.

I think you’re selling the Oilers opponents short here. The Kings finished with more points than the Avs and one point fewer than the Stars and had a Vézina finalist goalie in Kuemper. The Oilers beat them with 4 straight wins and made Kuemper look bad. The Golden finished second overall in the West and 9 points above the Oilers and Edmonton beat them in 5.

Glad to see you remained ridiculously biased in your Bouchard opinion

Well, in the spirit of positivity, I'm going with your take Sean!
(On the Oilers that is...Bouchard is dreadful. Lol)

Bouchard has been great during these playoffs and last years playoffs. I can handle his defensive liabilities during the regular season as long as he cleans things up during the playoffs, which he does.
