Using the +/- of a player on a terrible team as a barometer is a terrible idea.
Connor Bedard was a -36 last season. Does that mean he is garbage?

Indeed, he was on a terrible team that year. He was also still feeling the horrible effects of his condition which just nuked his energy. You could literally see it when he was playing.
If (and it's a huge if) his health issues are truly in the past, I think he would be a great 3C with the ability to provide some good 2C play if needed. He's an incredibly driven person, so you will for sure get a full 100% effort out of him. No one knows what that tops out at though.
