He’s (Faulk) not quite to Victor Hedman level but he is a Hedman type defenseman.


That’s a stretch. Hedman, Makar and Josi can control pace and control the game. Faulk is not even close to any of them. I like your zest for his play though.

Tough loss. Honestly, I think the defense has been playing short for so long, it just was catching up to them. Blues were short on proper depth for a Cup team by one when healthy. They wer3 never healthy in these playoffs, but still took it this far.

Sacrifice some scoring depth for defense and hungry hard-nosed players. Find that balance is toughin the Cap NHL.

Another Loser Team for You ? Who's next ?

A lot of bad coaching decisions such as 4th line selection should've been Joshua, Brown and Neal, using Perunovich who's not NHL ready, Bozak, Toropchenko and Walker should've been depth players not regulars, fix whatever problem Barbashev had instead of dropping him to 4th line, should've fixed the problem with all the odd man rushes on the forecheck etc. etc. It came back to bite them in the ass in game 6 when bottom 3 or 4 Avs Fs Compher and Helm eliminated them.

Plenty of quit in Blues writers
