I have wanted a total rebuild for the past 7-9 years. Is it ever going to happen? We keep faithful season after season to the same core. At least I would like to see Dumba fired after seeing him coast behind the player who scored with less them second left in the period last game. That pissed me off royally.

Dumba brings very little to your team with his inconsistent play. His offensive game is never going to materialize and his main focus seems to off ice issues in regards to race. Please move on from him as Faber will do a better job now and down the road. It is also time to unload Fleury and go with the kids Gustavsson and Wallstedt, cheaper options and better options imo. One thing to keep in mind the Wild played a very strong Dallas team that smothered them and will do the same all the way to the finals. Oettinger really stole the series. The Wild were outplayed but had the chances to win but just could not beat Jake. Not a lot of tweaking necessary, solid team.

Most likely they would have to trade Kirill if they did a complete rebuild. It’s difficult to get back full value and every seriously contending team needs a superstar. Not likely Leopold would get on board with that.

Dumba almost certainly will never play another shift with the Wild. I believe that play he was slow to get back was when Harley put him into the boards and he sustained his concussion. Dumba didn’t play in the 3rd period.
