Thanks Yorkie.
I'm looking forward to a busy off season for the Canucks. With new found faith in Allvin, I'm curious to see what the team will look like at the start of next season. |

Thanks York.
Does fishing for trades count?
Plus yes expecting a busy June for Canucks leading up to July free agency mayhem. |

I think PA is going to have a hard act to follow. I still think if he did get Guentzel we would be in the final. He missed it by that much.
A lot of teams are going to be shopping come this summer so prices will be high. It is going to be a players market this year with the cap going up. |

His modus operandi is to make his play sooner than later, he's okay with overpaying to a point. I think he'll try his big moves prior to the draft.

How big do you think Lindholms contract is going to be in Columbus or Boston? 7 years at what per year because I think it's going tk get silly |

Boston is desperate for a top center so you are probably looking at 7 x 7 or higher. |

Yeah it's a lot for a 3rd line center.
It looks like the Canadian Men's 7s will be dropped from the show. |

Ya I think Drance and Harm had a good breakdown of what his potential contract/future would be. It was a stay away moment. He's gonna get PAID as there's like 5 centers who scored more than 30 points this year going into UFA |

I trust our current management to make the right call. I don’t think they’re as attached to players like Benning and co were.
I expect some smart and calculating moves be made. I suspect Hronek is re upped. |

I'm not sure about Hronek but I do trust management, but it feels like forever since we could trust management to make the right move. |

Good blog although I do think you'll see more come up from the farm than expected which is good because every entry level deal allows for more to be spent elsewhere. |

Agree about trusting Allvin and they certainly don't seem obsessive like the past disastrous braintrust.
I think Hronek is gone. Draft day trade. |

Anyone seen little Ricky micro penis?
Maybe that’s him on all the tv stations in New York crying about the Trump verdict. |

This is why I think Canucks should make a trade for Kotkaniemi who has six years remaining at 4.8 mil. He is 23 years old. His cap for a third line center now is fair and should get better as the cap increases. His buyout hit is extremely cheap if he does not work out in the next 2 to 3 years.
Carolina are looking to dump him and we are looking to dump Mikheyev. Serves both needs.

Boston always find a way to get the cheap deals.

I’m fine with it if they do trade him.
But I’m betting they circle back after exploring the trade market. |

Ffs.
Keep the politics out, don’t encourage the little fella.
Y’all’s obsession with foreign nation’s affairs is baffling to me.
That’s one thing I’m looking forward to about returning to nz next month. |

I think Podkolzin and Aman will be up full time. Silovs for backup.
Bains/Karlsson/Raty all have a chance on the fourth line but they're not going to be penciled in right away. DPetey and Lekker probably need some time in the AHL.. I think the year after next you'll see a lot more graduation from the farm. |

That's probably pretty accurate, and if 4 of them make the team out of camp that's a pretty good savings. I do think Raty has a good chance of sticking out of camp. |
