July 1st has been circled on the calendar since we lost to the Cats. It will be a great day if they can land Lindholm and Stephenson. I’ll take them both if Debrusk is gone. Less thrilled with the possibility of Monahan.

I feel like there is a lot of moving parts right now. Excited for tomorrow, but also not thrilled Swayman doesn't have a contract.

My guess for tomorrow:

Sweeney signs one of Lindholm or Stephenson, likely overpays on a max contract.

They sign a scoring forward. Could be stamkos or any of the like.

Sweeney makes a few surprising depth moves. Mimics what he did when he signed Forbort, goes after some value.

And I hope he is in on Rutger McGroarty from the jets. Could see Sweeney selling another first rounder for him plus a prospect.

I like the Letourneau pick. The draft is a crapshoot anyways, Happy to see the trend has been more towards a mix of size and skill than undersized NCAA players.

Hoping Sweens can make some improvements today. I just bought into a season ticket holder group. Don't (frank)ing make me regret this Bruins.

Chicago giving Bert 4 years, 5.5mil per. Had to sign with a team needing to get to the cap floor to get that much. Glad the Bruins stayed away at that price.

At 5.5, I wouldn't have signed Bert for that. 4.75-5, maybe. If Bert is getting 5.5, I am going to guess JD is going to land between 6-7 mil for some team. Big Yikes.

They're almost identical players. Both wildly inconsistent except Bertuzzi takes lot's of stupid penalties where DeBrusk doesn't. Id rather have DeBrusk but not over 5.

DeBrusk gets 5.5 mil per for 7 years in Vancouver. Less than anticipated and just as much as Bert (although not on a team needing to get to the floor.

Shame, I would have probably entertained that amount. Depending on how the other signings go. Definitely wouldn't have gone higher.
