Still remember a pretty nice goal Bourgeault scored in preseason. Seems like the Oilers pulled off a pretty solid trade given Xavier floundered a bit last season.

Might be a lemon swap, but maybe both players just need a reset.

Is Kane really hurt? Doesn’t his cap count against the roster to start the season?

I can see the Oilers going with a smaller roster to be compliant, I’m sure McDavid and Draisaitl wouldn’t mind more icetime.
