Getting healthier hopefully doesn't mean the kids sit. But if Hayes returns I doubt Ponomarov is in the lineup.

Pickering may stick since Letang is a righty, but they could slide Shea to LD. I wouldn't mind continuing to run Pickering-Shea for a bit and maybe give St. Ivany a little time in WBS.

Sully is definitely going to sit the kids!

I’d love to see team and player stats regarding first goal on first shot. Fleury was also pretty bad for this.

That was a team effort. Pettersson got caught loafing to retrieve the puck, got pressured and dumped the puck behind the net to Karlsson, who was 40 feet behind the play. Then somehow Malkin whiffed. Typical lack of effort from this team when they don't have the puck.

I’ll mostly give it to Malkin on that one but still, how many times has Jarry done that alone this year… and he’s only started like 5 or 6 games lol

Jarry isn't without fault, he's been bad for some time now. FWS, fat wallet syndrome has hit Sullivan, he's lost the room and just going thru the motions.

Man I hope Accairi finds a home. He’s the heart and soul of this team right now.

Acciari was our best player in the first period. That's not a good thing.

Our defense is just bad and that's being kind. We're lucky this isn't 4-0.

You beat me to it. Acciari and PullyerHarvey are the only guys that broke a sweat so far.

I wasn't a big fan of signing him because we already had so many bottom 6 guys, but Accari is turning into a keeper. Pulju deserves a contract, hope we give it to him.

If Sid’s going to back check like that then he should be asked to waive his no trade clause.

He’s still a millionaire whose only responsibility is to play hockey. He’s supposed to be a leader too.

If Dubas isn't on the phones right now, he should be. I suggest:

Malkin/Crosby/PullyerHarvey
goon/goon/goon
goon/goon/goon
goon/goon/goon

goon/St Ivany
Shea/goon
Pickering/goon

As much as he’s been terrible I’d still like to see Letang in there.

Hard to overstate how ugly the attendance was tonight. Lots of empty seats. Big litmus test will be the Wednesday game. Day before Thanksgiving, the place is normally bumping. Should be a sellout but it will be interesting to see how the crowd is.

Personally, I hope the average fan doesnt stop going to games just because of the on-ice product. Some of my best memories going to games as a kid were when we were horrible and there were 12,000 die hards in the Mellon Arena.

But will ticket prices high, construction still going on downtown and around the arena, and parking being ridiculous, i dont blame fans for staying away.

I’d imagine you feel pretty impotent as a teammate when you have to tell Sid good fight, I don’t really think anyone cares though. Especially Rust, 0 FM in a career is just outright embarrassing. That 3.5% of difference in xgf really stood out though.

I do like Letang. I doubt he wants to leave and I'm fine with that. At least he still gives an effort.

Karlsson on the other hand, can wear the same uniform he wore last night. No way he broke a sweat.

The only way things will change is if fans stop showing up. Want Sully or Dubas gone? We are stuck with them until the economics of keeping them no longer make sense.

It's crazy to think we are this bad/lifeless and we haven't even started trying to tank yet... Something has to happen here one way or another.
