If this is really a ploy to get this thing going, Im not sure it will. The Goodrow ad Trouba leak over the summer might be having lingering effects of play these past couple of games but going to the extreme of trading another locker room leader in CK29 might be a complete backfire.

No it's not. But by trading some of the core they begin to change the culture and the pecking order in the room. The core is where the problem lies, it's time to bite the bullet. Will it be at the expense of a lost season? Depends on the return for the players traded. But it's time.
