Team played well tonight, Lyon was superb and defence played good. Johansson needs to play every game. The problem is our coach is terrible and next game Giveaway Gustafson will be back in lineup. Also what is motte doing on second line Second line would look better with Debrincat , Kasper and Bergrren. Actual offensive players who actually can score. Motte is a hard worker and is a reliable 4 line guy.

I like the take. Motte is a 4th line dude. Good at what that role calls for. Would rather have seen Berggren with Larkin and Raymond and Tarasenko with Kasper and Debrincat. Big night for the top d pair. 3 points plus Johansson’s first on the Larkin spinning goal

Not that I expected him to be dominant or anything but man does Tarasenko look lost out there. I suspect part of the issue is that he's somehow allergic to playing left wing, but that doesn't explain why he seems like he can't even handle a pass.

Tank has tanked. I was not a fan of this signing. I think Tyler Johnson for less than $1M would have been better and given the Wings a lot of flexibility as the season wore on.
Edit: I expressed satisfaction on the 1st day of the signing and then changed my mind on day 2 when I realized that this along with having to sign Raymond and Seider would put DRW to close to the cap limit. [/img]

Convert him to a d-man. That’s what Bowman would do.
