It's just a temporary bump in play, the coaching change, you're still losing. That will only last for a short while and then you'll go back to being a talentless team once again.

good to hear from someone that has a lot of background following a team like that.

How are the Sharks doing?
Checks standings... oh... outside-looking-in from bottom of the division. As usual.

Dude, your team hasn't made the playoffs in 5 years.
Come back and talk smack when you've got something to back you up.

I like Ty's glass half full perspective, but I think Sacco was the wrong choice for head coach.

Agreed.

The idiot Sharks fan had one thing right - rebound. I predicted it when Monty was fired.

But long term it's not sustainable. Unfortunately if (WHEN) the Bruins miss the post season they have Sacco as the fall guy. The dynamic duo of Sweeney and Neely might last even until next season's failures...

Don’t know about Sacco but every player is underachieving so far except a couple of the 4th liners. They’re just not crisp, can’t see it lasting the whole season. Some guys like Geekie might not be as good as they played last year but Pasta, Sway, McAvoy, Lindholm etc they can’t be this ordinary .

Bruins had a 4-0 lead and have turned it into a 5-3 game.

WTF???

This is not a competitive product. The best coach won't even make it that. This will be a "limp by season". And it should cost Sweeney and Neely their jobs. (Spoiler it probably won't).

Cheers boys! Going back to the bourbon

Charlie McAvoy is THE most overrated player in the NHL. Odd comment after yesterday's performance but the body of work is there.

Bourque to Chara to McAvoy? No. Not even close. Solid top 4 damn but not a #1 on a cup winning team.

Everyone except Pastrnak should be up for discussion.

Also time to sit Swayman. Korpisalo is the better option and Swayman needs to get his head out of his 64 million dollar ass. 2 of 3 goal were soft.

Wish they would have those discussions, but I think Sweeney is going to sell more assets and add instead of admitting defeat.

Minimum of two games of playoff revenue or bust.

He's good, he can play heavy, any other team would love to have him, but his shot from the point scares no one. Bourque or Chara launching from the point you expeceted goal or a really good shot every time. Is this coaching? is the stragetly to not shoot from the point? expecially on the power play. forcing the Pasta on the left circle every time,

I feel like they have made it a point of emphasis to take more shots from the point since Sacco took over. There have been a lot more pucks towards the net in the last week.

Feels like it’s league wide though. Teams for the most part aren’t looking for that booming slap shot anymore. It’s all quicker snap shots looking for redirects.

Agreed. Didn't say he sucks. He is not a franchise Defenseman nor is he a game breaker.

Certainly take him over someone like... say ... Nurse.

But he's definitely not earning his salary / Cap-hit

Effort has been better lately, I'll give them that. Funny how the power play works now.

Getting the win is great and all but...

I can't believe Bruins are paying Swayman $8M / year to post sub-900 SV%
(He's had plenty of time to adjust to missing training camp)

Yeah, Korp deserves the majority of starts at this point. He's played much better.
