John Klingberg is most likely a $2.5 million defensemen now so a team like the Leafs would be out as they are over the cap. He would make New Jersey very deadly if he is in fact healthy and skating like he used to. New Jersey has about $1.75 million in cap. What a nice healthy number for John Klingberg. |

Dreger's rumour is not the same as Ek. So probably coming from different sources.
Dreger said 5-7 teams are interested. Ek said Toronto, plus up to 6 more. So I guess that's the same.
But Dreger says Edmonton and Ottawa are involved. Ek doesn't mention them at all. He has Vancouver, LA, NJ, Nashville, and Florida. So a very different list of teams.
