I’d love to play them. That would mean my team was in the finals. |

No. Or at least not as much I'm scared of facing TB or FLA in the first round, considering the SENS will end up being a WC team. |

Why would the Canucks not want to play the Caps in the Finals? Dumb question lol |

All the teams currently in the top 10 (points wise) are there for good reason. That being said, it’s not that they are bad team but TOR, CAR, and WAS are the least scary of those 10.
We trash TOR calling them a first round exit based on data from the last 20 years (yes we know 1967 🙄). Well during that same time WAS has struggled to get out of the 2nd round with extremely rare exception.
Also the Presidents Trophy jinx is real. |

A team with Pierre Luc Dubois will not win a championship or have a bit of success in an intense playoff format. This guy is a fair weather player if there ever was one and as soon as things get difficult he not only disappears but he will blame everyone and anyone but himself. It will be interesting what happens this year with the Caps being a pretty great team so PLD's crap hasn't slowed them down so far and therefore they'll be in the playoffs. My bet is a first round exit. This guy is such a cancer that he really does damage the entire team. PK Subban x100
So, no, the Caps do not scare me in the least. They'll blow up internally. |

I mean, if I'm going to be on the ice playing full contact hockey vs them, then yes, I would be a bit weary of going up against Big Tom Wilson and Co.... |

I think that the Caps are a solid team, but also believe that they've over achieved. They can definitely win a round, but once the big boys around them get geared up, their record will be the least of the problem. The Metro is the weaker of the two eastern divisions with the possibility of the two wildcard teams coming out of the Atlantic. If the Habs were in the Metro, they'd be battling for 3rd. It's tough sledding trying to climb the Atlantic. |

Next to John Cooper who is who is the Washington Capitol coach, Spencer Carbery may be the next best coach in the NHL. |

Next to John Cooper who is who is the Washington Capitol coach, Spencer Carbery may be the next best coach in the NHL. - Blackstrom2 Carbery was a great special teams coach, when he was an assistant coach in Toronto. It's too bad that the Leafs kept Sheldon Keefe around for too long. He would have thrived in Toronto with that talent base at forward.
